It seems that folks want more water security. We have had a flood of people ordering “whole house” reverse osmosis systems and GE Homespring purification systems. Both products are phenomenal performers. When it comes to “preparedness”, these are two of our best products. These types of products can be used with city water in Denver & the surrounding area. They are also particularly usefull in the rural areas with small community water supplies or private wells. Remember, if the power goes out, you will have no water… unless you prepare and store large quantities. We can help.

Water heater replacements have become more & more common over the last few years. As so many homes built during the last building boom are reaching that 7 to 10 year old mark, many of them are needing new water heaters. We carry the traditional tank style along with the newer, more efficient tankless units.

Chuck The Water Man (that’s me) works all over Colorado every day helping people with water quality problems. Hard water is argueably the most prolific concern. Yesterday we helped 2 families with new water softeners. One family in Loveland got soft water & filtered water. Another family in Brighton got a new water softener to go with their pre-existing water Filter & Tankless water heater.

Today we will be installing another water filter system in Denver Colorado. It’s a water filter … a water sterilizer … and a water softener. It will provide great tasting, soft, purified water for this new customer. Meanwhile we have two routine service calls on water softeners and water filters in Littleton Colorado and Louisville Colorado. And finally, we have a site visit to price out the installation of a new Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. It is a classic day that really shows our priority … 2 service calls, 1 installation and 1 sales call. That is just about the perfect day for a healthy business.

Water Filters Denver is a catagory that should be addressed by location. We are currently working on a set of Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters in a recently re-built residential section of denver. The homes in this older part of the city are new & beautiful. However, the aging water mains can cause a problem for the very fine inlet filters in some water heaters. We are now trying to resolve this problem in one such house. Because there is a recirc loop, we really need to use a filter that can stand up to hot water. Deciding which filter to use is our challenge today. If you need such a solution… ask here.

Yesterday we topped off the beds of 2 neutralizing filters in Evergreen Colorado. These filters help to balance the pH of the water so the water won’t eat away at plumbing & fixtures. They need to be service at least in 6 month intervals.

Last night we made a late evening service call for a couple on a water softener in Centennial Colorado. They have a 17 year old softener that is making their water salty. This is a common complaint on older units. The unit and surrounding plumbing has several leaks. These older units have rubber seals & O-rings. As they age, the rubber starts to crack. Over time, the rubber deteriorates and the hard plastic & metalic pistons can score or scratch the valve body, the piston, and the rings. This will cause widespread damage to the overall valve indicating replacement of the control valve or maybe even the entire unit. In this case, the resin has been in service for 17 years without the benefit of chlorine reduction. It makes better sense to replace the whole unit.
