Sulfur Water (Rotten Egg Smell)

Sulfur water usually smells like “Rotten Eggs”.  Sulfur in water is very common in Colorado’s private wells.  The rural areas around Denver and on the “Front Range” have some very high sulfur levels. Sometimes this odor will only occur in the hot water. Sometimes in just the cold water. Sometimes in both hot & cold.  Sulfur in water is usually in a gaseous state.  There are several effective technologies for removing sulfur from water. The water treatment or water filter industry terms sulfur water as “Problem Water”.  Like other problem water, sulfur water can be challenging. This is not the time for a novice company. There is too much money involved to get it wrong.  Chuck The Water Man (that’s me) has done hundreds of these types of wells.  Please call us at (303) 242-8306.  I’ll give you a great job at a fair price.
