Chuck The Water Man will be replacing an old obsolete control valve on a water softener out in Bennett Colorado this morning.  Later this afternoon, I will repair a reverse osmosis unit and service a water softener for a family in Commerce City Colorado.

The water softener repair in Bennett Colorado was mostly routine. We installed a new Clack WS1 control valve, replacing an old Cuno style valve that was siezed up and stuck in one position. There was a bit of re-plumbing involved because the new valve sits a little higher than the old valve. We also installed a ball valve on the inlet side to make it a bit easier for Paul to change his filter cartridge without draining down his entire pressure tank.

The reverse osmosis repair in Commerce City Colorado turned out to be a water-logged tank. I replaced the tank and everything tested fine. This customer has been abandoned by the company that installed his system. He was just happy to have somebody respond that could actually fix his problem.
